CIU Kind Heart LBG Extends Compassion to the Missionaries of Charity with Food Donation Drive
Kumasi, Ghana – On April 26, 2025, CIU Kind Heart LBG, a nonprofit organization devoted to empowering vulnerable communities, extended a hand of love and solidarity to the Missionaries of Charity through a heartfelt donation of food items.

The outreach, held at the Missionaries of Charity premises in Kumasi, was a significant gesture under the organization’s broader “Hope in Action” program. This initiative supports marginalized groups through nutrition, education, and empowerment, particularly focusing on children and families in need.

“We believe that every act of kindness—no matter how small—creates ripples of hope in our communities,” said Mr Michal Lie Ciu, Director of CIU Kind Heart LBG. “By supporting the Missionaries of Charity, we are not only feeding bodies, but also souls who are in desperate need of love and dignity.”

The donation included assorted food items, aimed at easing the burden on caregivers and nourishing the many sick, homeless, and vulnerable individuals under the Missionaries’ care. The visit also served as an opportunity for the CIU Kind Heart team to interact, pray, and share heartfelt moments with the residents.

Mr. Solomon K Antwi, the Communication and Development Director, emphasized, “Sharing these moments reminds us why we exist—to light up lives with compassion. It’s our hope that this act inspires others to support similar causes.”

Mr. Cyrus Opoku, Secretary and Programs Director, also added, “This outreach is just one of many planned under our 2025 calendar. Our goal is not only to support but also to empower institutions and individuals making lasting change in society.”

The Missionaries of Charity expressed deep appreciation for the donation and partnership, describing it as timely and God-sent.
